I got a little sloppy on keeping my blogs.(and my shape as well :p )
Let’s wrap it up.
± EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND
An episode of “Everybody loves Raymond” has been shown in the afternoon for three days in a row. I think some are funny and some are not easy to catch up with.
The following are what I’ve learned from them:
Baloney (Also used as That’s baloney. I didn’t take your money.)
Heartless dictator
Go through rough patch= have difficulty
Two days in a row
Extravagant (extreme/luxurious)
My bank account is not healthy.
I stand corrected.
Crisp day = fresh day (crisp potato)
Desperate time calls for desperate measures.
Down to earth= being honest and simple
Groovy=modern, fancy
Keep the house up and running
Tiffs=small fights
Passive aggressive
Hot-button issue
I’d like to keep the enemies in the dark.

Holocaust
You have been blessed with a burden.
In the beginning, the students treated each other like enemies because they belonged to different groups divided by races. Miss G made some efforts to change the situation. They no longer hated each other and understood that they all shared same experiences, emotions, difficulty and even goals. In the end, students broke the barriers of races, cooperated with each other and became like a family.
±FEEDBACK ON ASSESSMENT BY CAROLYN
Peggy, your pronunciation is perfect. Why have I seldom heard you speaking in the class? You should speak more.
I got full marks on my passage reading this time. ^+++^
